Buying Night Crew

Night Crew is sold by Polar Software, Inc., our reseller and merchant of record. Polar processes your payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, and issues your receipt. Polar’s buyer terms apply to the purchase.

Your licence

A licence is a one-time purchase that lets you use Night Crew on up to 2 Macs you own or control.
It includes future updates and features.
You may not share, resell or publish your licence key, or modify, crack or redistribute the app. We may disable a licence key used in breach of these terms, for example one found in a modified, shared or published copy.
The free trial gives every feature for 14 days. They start the first time Night Crew keeps your Mac awake for an agent or you turn on lid mode, or 7 days after you install, whichever comes first. After the trial, every feature needs a licence.
The app checks your licence with Polar about once a week. If it can’t check for 30 days, Night Crew pauses until your Mac checks in once.

Team seats. A team purchase buys several seats in one order. Each seat is one person's licence on the terms above, for up to 2 Macs. The buyer assigns seats by email from Polar's customer portal and may take a seat back and give it to someone else. A seat can't be shared between people or resold.

Refunds

See the refund policy: a full refund within 30 days, no questions asked. A refunded licence stops working.

Using lid mode and keeping your Mac awake

Night Crew changes when your Mac sleeps, and lid mode keeps it running with the lid closed. A Mac that stays awake uses more battery and makes more heat. Night Crew’s battery floor and heat guard are on by default, and lid mode always stops when your Mac gets hot, but you are responsible for how and where you use it. Don’t run lid mode inside a closed bag or a confined space.

No warranty

Night Crew is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don’t promise that it will be free of errors, or that it will keep any particular agent or task running.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including lost work, data, or damage to hardware from heat or battery use. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Night Crew. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded.

Trademarks

The names Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Gemini CLI are trademarks of their owners. Night Crew works with them but isn’t made or endorsed by them.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force when you bought your licence applies to that purchase.
